BIG WATER ANCHOR WINCH By TRAC
•Power Up/Free-fall Down – When the switch is pressed "DOWN," the anchor falls from the davit into the water and descends in a "free fall" manor to the lake or river bottom. As the boat drifts, additional rope will be let out. To stop the rope from letting-out, the switch is pressed "UP" for about three seconds to lock the winch spool. When retrieving the anchor, the switch is pressed "UP" causing the motor and gearing to spool the rope and lift the anchor, stowing it in the davit (anchor roller). The Big Water anchor winch is the only model with the "free-fall" down feature. •70 fpm No-load Rope Retrieval Speed •Heavy-Duty Roller - The anchor roller (also called a Davit) on the Big Water model is slightly smaller than shown in the photo (see comparison chart if you need dimensions). The Big Water winch features a davit which is not attached to the winch allowing the davit and winch to be placed apart or close together depending on the shank length of the anchor used. Short anchor shanks are preferred as the winch can more easily tip the anchor into the horizontal stowed position.
